Natural Tan Shell Cordovan – Worn-In
Cut from Horween’s natural shell cordovan, this strap looks like it already has a few years behind it. The natural tan finish has depth and tonal variation built in, with lighter and darker areas, soft markings and a gentle lustre that suggests the leather has been worn and loved.
Shell cordovan is one of the rarest and most durable leathers there is. Horween has been tanning it in Chicago for over a century, using a process that takes around six months from start to finish. It is dense, hard-wearing and rolls rather than creases, so it softens to your wrist without losing its shape.
No two straps are alike
Every strap in this range is unique. Natural cordovan varies from hide to hide, and even across a single shell, so colour, tone and markings will differ from one strap to the next. The strap you receive will not look exactly like the one photographed. Product images show the character of the leather rather than your individual strap.
That variation is only the beginning. Natural cordovan responds to light, handling and the oils in your skin, deepening and developing its patina the more you wear it. Over time your strap will become entirely your own.
Please note: variations in colour, tone, markings and texture are natural features of this leather, not defects. If you prefer a perfectly uniform finish, our other cordovan straps may suit you better.

- Finish: Natural lustre that can be brought back with a soft cloth or a light buff
- Care: Wipe with a dry cloth, keep away from prolonged water exposure, and use a small amount of cordovan cream occasionally if desired
