Military fabric and nylon watch straps
A fabric strap is one of the most versatile things you can put on a watch. It's light, comfortable in hot weather, and tough enough for everyday wear, travel and the outdoors. Our premium straps use dense, high-quality weaves with solid hardware, so they feel far better on the wrist than the thin, shiny straps you'll find elsewhere.
Choosing a style
Classic military-style straps. Our one-piece fabric straps are made from a single length of fabric that passes under the watch case, with a second layer that keeps the watch secure even if a spring bar fails. It's the design military servicemen have trusted for decades. The smooth, tightly woven seatbelt-style fabric is soft against the skin and holds its colour well. They come in plain colours, pinstripes, piping and classic stripes.
Ribbed fabric straps - A ribbed fabric strap has a textured, vintage look that suits older-style dive watches, field watches and chronographs. The raised rib catches the light and gives more depth than a flat weave.
Single pass straps - Our woven nylon single pass straps sit between a Perlon and a one-piece military strap. They have only one layer under the watch, so the watch sits lower and thinner on the wrist, which is ideal for slimmer watches or anyone who finds a double-layer strap too bulky.
Two-piece nylon straps - If you like the look of fabric but want a strap that wears like leather, a two-piece ballistic nylon strap fits with standard spring bars and a buckle, and nothing passes under the watch. They come in standard and large lengths to suit a wider range of wrists.
More fabric styles - Also take a look at our pleated fabric straps, tubular nylon straps and canvas military straps. For a technical look on a sports or dive watch, try our sailcloth straps.
Sizing
Fabric straps are sized by lug width, the gap between the lugs on your watch case. Most of our straps are available in 20mm and 22mm, with many in 18mm and 19mm too. One-piece and single pass straps adjust to almost any wrist. Two-piece straps come in set lengths, so check the wrist size range on each product.
FAQs
What's the difference between a one-piece and a two-piece fabric strap?
A one-piece strap is a single length of fabric that passes under the watch, so the watch stays attached even if a spring bar fails. A two-piece strap attaches to each side of the case like a leather strap. It sits lower and looks cleaner, but it doesn't have that extra security.
Can I wear a fabric strap in water?
Yes. Nylon straps are fine for swimming and showers. Rinse them in fresh water after salt water or a chlorinated pool, and let them dry naturally.
How do I clean a fabric watch strap?
Hand wash it in warm soapy water, rinse well and leave it to air dry. Take the strap off the watch first.
Will a one-piece strap make my watch sit higher?
A little, because of the fabric layer under the case. If that bothers you, a single pass or two-piece strap keeps the watch closer to the wrist.
