No. Our crocodile straps are calfskin embossed with a crocodile pattern. That gives you the classic look with the durability and easier care of calfskin. We choose to be ethical and only source skins and hides where we know the source and with croc farming there are some very unethical practices that we do not wish to support.
Is embossed crocodile good for a dress watch?
Yes, it's the classic choice. Black or dark brown embossed crocodile suits almost any dress watch. Navy and oxblood add a little more personality.
