They're made from very sturdy seatbelt nylon that is also exceptionally comfortable to wear, more so than any other Fabric strap. The Fabric watch strap is a versatile strap that was and still is used heavily in the military to secure the watch should a pin break but to also work in mixed conditions come rain or shine! Traditionally the design originates back to WW2 and was formalised by the MOD in the 70's.
