Virginia leather begins life as a chrome-tanned hide, then it’s re-tanned with natural vegetable extracts. This “veg re-tan” gives you the best of both: the softness and durability of chrome, with the rich, vintage character of vegetable tanning.
It arrives supple, with a soft, low-sheen finish, and from the first wear it starts to develop a patina that’s unique to you. It’s an easy brown to wear with almost anything, from a vintage chronograph to a modern dress watch.
Sourced from the Boaventura tannery in Portugal, each strap is handmade and saddle-stitched by hand, lined with Haas Zermatt for comfort, and ready to dispatch today.
